Throughout the years, the M (for Motorsport) has designated the highest performance BMWs available from the factory, and BMW lovers know
that when they see an "M" on a Bimmer, the car means business. Similarly, Honda has their own designation that enthusiasts recognize instantly: the
letter R, There are more. Si, SiR, but R is the greatest. Many Hondas sport this designation, and while Honda's lower price may take away from the exclusivity of owning an "R" car, that doesn't mean they compromise on performance. However, many of these cars stay on the wrong side of the Pacific. The NSX-R, Civic TypeR, and Accord SiR are all just for the Japanese market.So America is forced to work with what it has.
